As you can see, we outgrew our previous venue. With that comes a larger more expensive venue, which is reflected in our ticket prices this year. In order to continue to bring you and your dancer the best experience that we always strive for, this change was necessary and won’t disappoint! That said, mark your calendars now!
Purchasing tickets will be on a first come first serve basis. Thursday, December, 17th from 5pm-7pm and Friday, December 18th 5pm-6pm. All remaining tickets may be purchased at the studio between 3pm-8pm Mondays- Wednesdays, at the end of the tech rehearsal, or at the performance. Pre-dance students are ONLY in the 1st show. All other levels are in BOTH shows! Plan your ticket purchases accordingly.

Tech Rehearsals
There will be a mandatory rehearsals on Friday, January 22nd at Warwick Valley High School. All classes are to arrive at 4:30pm for a tech rehearsal. We are aware of the dancer’s busy schedules; however we are only permitted these hours in the theater. Please make all arrangements necessary ahead of time to ensure you arrive on time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Reminder! There will be no classes at the studio on the rehearsal day as we will all be at the theater.

This rehearsal will be a full run-through with show attire, lights and sound. You must sign-in and out just as you will at the show. Parents can watch the rehearsal inside the theater, unless you are volunteering. Please allow extra time for warming up and settling in backstage as we plan to begin on time so we may end on time. If all participants cooperate we will be done in a timely fashion. Once you have finished your routine/s for the night, you are permitted to leave the rehearsal. You will not be dismissed individually.

Day of Show
 The call time for all dancers Level 2 and above and all backstage helpers is 10:30am regardless of what level your dancer is in.

 Pre-dance and Level 1 dancers may arrive no later than 11:30am.

 A walk-through curtain call rehearsal (bows) will be held at 10:45am, followed by a group stretch on stage. Pre-dance and Level 1 may participate in this rehearsal, however it is not mandatory as they will be led on stage for their bow at the end of the performance/s by a helper.

 Any quick changes need to be brought to the designated quick-change area.

 You are responsible for all of your items you bring into the theater. NDM and WVHS are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

 Please keep in mind, this isn’t our first performance, for every 5 dancers backstage there is a volunteer parent supervising and assisting at all times. Your children will be under close watch, given fun activities, and even escorted to the facilities when necessary. You may pack quiet activities/games along with snacks and drinks. Please keep in mind we do not want anything that could stain or spoil their costume.

 There will be time between 2pm-3pm for students to get their costumes back in order and have lunch.

 All dancers must remain backstage during the performances.

 Once a student is signed in, they are under our supervision and can only be signed out if they are done participating in the show and only by the person who signed them in (unless other arrangements have been made at sign-in). If a dancer is signed out before the conclusion of the show, they will not be participating in the curtain call (bows).

 Pre-dance Ballet classes participating in Act 1 are permitted to be signed out at intermission to sit in the audience with their families for the remainder of the show only if a ticket has been purchased. The theater does not allow lap seating. Please plan ahead if you choose to remove your dancer at intermission, they will not be participating in the curtain call (bows).

 Dancers must be signed back in backstage to participate in the 4pm show no later than 3:30pm.

Makeup- Eyes, lips and cheeks made bigger for stage
Hair in high bun unless otherwise instructed

Backstage Helpers

 There will be a sign-up sheet outside the studio in the weeks leading up to the show. If the lines are filled, we have enough helpers.

 Please be aware if you sign up to help you will be needed at the rehearsal for the full duration as well.

 At the tech rehearsal, as well as the day of the show, backstage helpers will receive a sticker with their name on it. If you do not have a sticker you will not be permitted past the sign-in desk.

 As a backstage helper, you are required to remain backstage with your designated group. All volunteers must give the children their attention for the duration of the performances as there are just the right amount of helpers to dancers.

 All volunteers must remain backstage for the duration of the tech rehearsal and the performance they signed up for. Remember, you are responsible for more than just your own child!

 Dancers should not have underpants under their leotard and tights. There are to be no added accessories to the costumes.

 Dancers should remain quiet backstage. This can be achieved by engaging them in activities.

 Dancers will be called to line-up 2 routines before their own. It is best to pay attention to the line up to ensure your group doesn’t miss their cue.


There will be absolutely NO videotaping or flash photography allowed. We have hired a professional videographer to capture the performance. You will receive an order form in class for the DVD. DVD’s can also be ordered at the show or online by visiting and searching the studio name. Photography without a flash will be permitted at the dress rehearsal only. Please do not embarrass us and have us ask you to leave for breaking these rules. This is for the safety of your dancers.

T-Shirts commemorating the event are available for pre-order.

Flowers will be available for pre-order. Florida Flowers and Gifts will bring your orders to the theater for pick up so it is most convenient for you! They accept cash & check at the show and credit/debit over the phone.


Wish your performer luck by placing a booster in the program. This makes for a wonderful keepsake and children love to see their name in the program! Students may submit as well.
